What this site is

Urmston Corner is an editorial reference resource that documents developments in educational technology and digital learning methods in Poland. It covers LMS adoption, blended learning implementation, MOOC usage among adult learners, and the policy frameworks that shape remote education.

The site does not sell courses, certifications or consulting engagements. It publishes informational content based on publicly available research, institutional data and reporting from Polish education bodies.

Editorial approach

Articles are written in a descriptive, neutral register. The aim is to present what is happening and what the available evidence shows — not to advocate for particular platforms, methods or vendors. Where data is cited, sources are linked. Where the evidence is limited or contested, that is noted.

Content is updated when material changes occur — a new MEN regulation, a revised GUS dataset, a platform feature update that affects how schools are using a tool. The update date shown on each article reflects when the content was last substantively reviewed, not when minor formatting corrections were made.
